Visitors

Sorry for the absence...again...you are probably used to it by now. But this time I have a good excuse. We have had the great pleasure of having our oldest son and his wife(oh and tank) come for a visit. It was a nice long visit, although not long enough for a mother. But we were so thrilled that they would want to spend so much of their vacation time off with us.

Helping B#3 with her Chemistry

Playing Spoons

Rock Climbing was a real hit with everyone.

Tank was very patient with B#11

They introduced us to a yummy new pizza

Isn't it great when Sisters-in-law get along?

Time to say goodbye:(

B#1(22) and his wife, B#3(18), B#4(17), B#5(13), B#6(12), B#7(6), B#8(4), B#9(3), B#10(2) and B#11(6months)

Now if B#2 had just been home, we all would be together! Oh and in case you forgot or are new "B" stands for Blessing. Children are a blessing!

B#6 Turns 12

For B#6's birthday, which falls on a holiday (Jan. 1st), we had a Medieval tea. Jessica enjoyed getting to wear a dress that B#4 made for going to ECD balls a while back.

Feasting

                                                                        Our Princess

Our menu consisted of ham, smoked sausage, cheese, boiled eggs, bread, fruit, shortbread, cupcakes, sparkling cider and tea.

The kids had fun doing archery

And having sword fights with these practice swords. Don't worry no one got hurt...oh wait, B#4 hurt her finger but then she usually is the one to get hurt in our family.
